Graduated with his associates in nursing, from Salt Lake Community College in 2010, where he started as a nurse in assisting with endoscopic procedures. In 2013 he received his bachelor’s of science in nursing, from Grand Canyon University and in 2016 graduated with his masters in nursing, with his family nurse practitioner license from Maryville University.
He enjoys caring for patients with an assortment of digestive, autoimmune, pain and mental health issues. He has been diligently working with patients for over 17 years and is dedicated to the well-being of those with whom he works.
Born and raised in small town rural Utah, Matt is a native Utahn in every regard. He began his medical career in 2005 working as a Surgical Technologist at Cottonwood Hospital. In 2010 he finished his Nursing Degree from Salt Lake Community College. Matt’s bachelor’s degree was finished soon after from Grand Canyon University in 2014. He went on to finish at Maryville University of St. Louis with a masters degree and Nurse Practitioner Board Certification in 2017. He continues to work in surgery as a first assist and mid-level provider treating spinal conditions. Matt believes that health is about balance and looks forward to helping his patients improve their equilibrium here at The Utah Medical Cannabis Clinic.
